When tasked with providing BlogNotions with information for his Thought Leader bio, Ryan’s response was a candid one:
Common, let’s be honest. If you’re reading this bio, it’s because you want to know if I can help you make some good old fashioned green stuff online. In that case, you should stop wasting your time on what I’ve done, who I’ve worked with or what important sounding boards and groups I belongs to.
While Ryan is an incredibly accomplished affiliate, he believes that none of his specific achievements are really worth spelling out in a bio. Ryan believes that the simple beauty of the Internet is that it levels the playing field for all aspiring affiliates regardless of budget, prior experiences, expertise, etc. Someone just starting out has pretty much every opportunity to make money online as the experienced guru. His claim is that you don’t need the resume of a guru to be successful online.
So what, in Ryan’s opinion, is the differentiator? Persistence and a desire to always be learning and adapting are the biggest things that have contributed to Ryan’s success online. He has a passion for seeing people really grab a hold of their desire to learn and put own online endeavors into action.
For affiliates who need him to name-names in order to justify his credibility as a Thought Leader, he will humbly admit to helping generate millions of dollars online both for the company he started as well as client initiatives. Clients from small, local mom and pop shops to worldwide companies such as E-Trade, SanDisk, Adidas and Mail.com have relied on his expertise to build, troubleshoot and enhance their web initiatives.
At the end of the day, though, Ryan insists that what matters is not what he, or any other guru has done, but instead, what YOU are doing with what they’re teaching or throwing at you.
So stop reading, and start getting to it!
